Im not even a hunter, but this app is great for so many other outdoor uses! hiking, biking, fishing, etc.!

Hands down the most accurate and detailed mapping app on the market. Consistently impressed with its level of detail and offline capabilities.

This app is the perfect companion for my backcountry hiking trips! I make sure to download some tiles so I always know where I am on the trail. Great for finding campsites too!

Great trail data. Great for scouting new places to explore. Love that it works without cell service....just be sure to save your maps before heading out.

Its neat how far into nature I can get with this app! The ability to save an area and use it offline is awesome. For how many layers the app comes with the price is well worth it. I really like where this app is going.

Back in May I receive a free year subscription from Cairn. Was unable to get the app to work until last week (on August 3rd). Initially, it would crash after a minute of being open, sometimes it would only load a gray screen then close. Went to use the app this morning and it said my free *week* trial expired, but I never received or signed up for a free trial as I had a full subscription which would not work. I wrote a message in May and received no response from their support. I wrote a second with this additional issue today and they have since fixed the app to run under my username, but have not comped me the 3 months that this application was not functioning at all. The only reply was, Sorry you got that message, we see you have a year membership. Short of them comp-ing the three nonfunctional months plus extra for my aggravation, I wont be purchasing this app after and Im glad I got a free year trial to see the issues. Its a great overall GPS mapping system, but very bug prone, crashes and is unreliable - plus youre paying money for the service which may or may not work. If it worked like it did the ONE time in the last THREE months, I would happily give 5 stars... Unfortunately, it has not worked properly since I signed up.

I opted to use ROAM to navigate a recent hike. I was pleased with the available maps and graphics I could use to find things like springs for water and camp sites. I never had any issues even in heavy canopy.

I got forced to use this after NeoTrex was no longer supported. I use this for hunting, tracking and hikng. It does not even come close to the old NeoTrex as far as zoomability with contours, images and the ease of way points. The ease of use is quite a bit harder than I expected for some one being computer literate.

This app is great! I find it very useful for finding little secret spots for camping and fishing!

Finally they made a app where I dont have to hop in between apps. Very very useful! Excited to see whats to come.

Finally, a mapping app with all the data I want! No need to jump between apps depending on whether Im fishing, hiking, running, or camping. Cant wait to see what onXmaps comes up with next!

Downloaded the app. Set up username and password. Cant login. Why have the app if you cant use it.

Maps look nice, but its lame that its a subscription service. Even worse that they have "partnered" with a terrible company that bought a great maps app and ruined it by charging money for what was once always free, then never updated it again. NeoTreks is awful. Sorry, but this is dumb.

Ive used Neotreks for awhile. Today I was prompted to change to this new one. This happened a few years ago when I went to NeoTreks. The Good. - I think the map layers are nice. - I like being able to choose my map type. - The GPS path seems more accurate. - the maps seem to have lots of established trails on them that Neotreks did not. The Bad - Neotreks had detailed specs showing altitude speed and lots of other statistics. I dont see that anymore and its disappointing. The Ugly - with Neotreks I could turn the screen off and the GPS would still track me. When I would turn my screen back on I could see my route where I had been and where I was at that moment. Onxmaps does not do this so you have to either leave the screen on, or deal with large gaps in your route. No more bread crumbs or no more battery is a tough choice if you are somewhere unfamiliar. I think this is a major flaw and needs to be fixed.

Used Neotreks for a while then they merged. Tried to use the maps I downloaded offline this past weekend and they wouldnt even load. Do not download! Awful.

I have been using the app for the last few days and it has really grown on me. It was a little difficult to understand at first, but I eventually figured it out. The trail layers are amazing. I cant wait for future updates as there are some trails Im not seeing yet. Overall, great app!!

I had to switch from my neotreks app and this one wont even open on my phone. Really bummed that it doesnt work. Please update!

Maybe this app will work some day, but for now it is not worth downloading and paying $10 for subscription. Terrible replacement for NeoTreks.
