I cant even test this app without creating an account and signing in. Why is that necessary to launch the app?

You have to create an account first thing, then zero coverage for Canada. Would vote 0 stars if possible.

I was excited to see the features of this app. The layers and the gps seemed very accurate. I liked the state level maps and the specialized campground and trails layers. When the trial was up there was not even a base map in the app - I would have to purchase a base map. Ridiculous! The developer of the app wants users to build a better apps, but we would have to pay for the base map and all of the layers. I have uninstalled the app and would never recommend it to any one! Great replacement for all my paper maps. Its become an essential part of my hiking experiences.

Finally, a mapping app with all the data I want! No need to jump between apps depending on whether Im fishing, hiking, running, or camping. Cant wait to see what onXmaps comes up with next!

Pretty much my favorite app I have on my phone right now. I am an avid hunter fisherman and hiker. This app makes my life easier and more comfortable going into new areas without fear of getting lost.

Nowhere is app description does it say this is a one week trial. Developer needs to add this so the truth be known. I used this "on trail" for first time yesterday. I downloaded a map to my device to use offline in advance. I used tracking feature. Worked great. I will say the features are a bit difficult to grasp...Not fully user friendly but Ive had similar complaints for other similar apps. The one I downloaded was a topo map for a state park and it has all the trails on it. So my biggest issue is false advertising...Now I get mesagr saying trial expires in 3 days. Not cool since this was not in description. That is reason for 2 stars. They want 9.99 a year. Other high quality apps like this are available for one time fee of 9.99.

Nice app overall. Wish I was informed that it is a subscription and what the price would be. Very deceiving and dishonest business guys! That practice is only for inferior products and companies, you guys are better than this!

If you like to recreate outdoors this is a must have. Trails, topo, points of interest, etc. Love the a ability to download maps for use without cell service

Great hiking app, very detailed maps and easy to use. Never knew I could save maps and use them without cell service while hiking. If youre looking for something to keep you safe and not have to buy a expensive gps this is your new go to.
